Code of Ethics: Grandfather Knew Best
Much has been said these last few days regarding ethical business practices. Perhaps it is better to let this topic fade away, akin to the way the HP Hurd story has faded silently (anyone else notice that?). However, that is not me and I do want to share a few things with everyone.

Otellini Talks Intel Acquisitions
The summer of 2010 might be remembered as the year of acquisitions. Honestly, doesn't it seem like every other major technology player has snapped up somewhere between 40 to 50 different companies? IBM continues to roll with purchases; Dell and HP are battling it out, preparing to spend billions for 3Par. There are countless others.
And, interestingly, Intel has reached deep into its own pockets twice in the past couple of weeks to bolster its own business. First, Chipzilla gobbled up McAfee in a $7.68 billion dollar grab. Turns out that wasn't enough for the chip-maker. Now Intel has revealed its $1.4 billion down purchase of Infineon.
