Cisco, EMC, VMware Join Forces In Major Data Center Product Play

Cisco, EMC and VMware will partner for a coalition called the Virtual Computing Environment and release a product suite called Vblock that combines Cisco's Unified Computing System, various EMC storage configurations, and VMware's Vsphere virtualization platform. I'll be interested to hear the feedback from HP and IBM.  VMWare and EMC win a little bit in this soltuion, but Cisco UCS is the big winner.  I don't think HP and IBM are shaking in thier boots, but I think they are definately keeping an eye on Cisco through the rear view mirror.
