I find sidewiki neither whacky nor wonderful but useful. The sleeper here is the ability to publish to Blogger, Facebook and Twitter. It's not a substitute. It's an adjunct that I expect will improve over time.
Sidewiki would be great if you could have a private section for personal notes, comments, etc. about a site. Very helpful for researching or keeping tabs on a particular website.
